10-week Chinese language program for SPU comes to end

A 10-Week Chinese Language Program has been completed successfully for Special Protection Unit (SPU) personnel in Punjab, security force deputed on CPEC and non-CEPC projects, on September 17.

In this regard a ceremony was held in which Chinese language completion certificates were handed over to all 50 participants.

The course was held every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00-12:00. The SPU Chinese Training Program will continue in the future. The textbook was tailor-made for SPU officers so that they could deal with real situations when providing security service and protection to foreigners and particularly the Chinese across Punjab on CPEC or non-CPEC projects.

The first Chinese Language Program for SPU, Punjab was launched in 2019. It was now the second program being organized by the Chinese Consulate Lahore on the proposal of the Chief Minister of Punjab.
