Balochistan: 4,000+ Ramadan ration hampers gifted to deserving families

On the basis of fully respecting local culture and customs and carrying the sharing and giving spirit, a total of more than 4,000 Ramadan ration hampers was gifted to deserving families living in Chagai District, Balochistan, Pakistan during the holy month of Ramadan.

The distribution was jointly carried by MCC Resources Development Co. Ltd. (MRDL), a subsidiary of the China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC Group), and Saindak Metals Limited.

The ration hampers, each containing rice, flour, dates, drinks, sugar, butter, beans as well as other essential items, were distributed in nearly 30 districts in Quetta and Chagai, including Dalpandin, Nokundi and Shandak, suiting regional food habits and ensuring that each family of nearby communities can celebrate Eid al-Fitr with satisfaction and happiness.

Pakistan is facing crises on multiple fronts. Its economy is teetering on the brink of collapse, with the rupee plummeting, inflation at its highest level in decades, devastating floods, and acute energy shortages. Thus, “Saindak Copper-Gold Project is pleased to distribute free Ramadan food packages among the deprived people living in the harsh & isolated areas of Chagai,” sources from MRDL told the reporter.
