CM Naqvi interested in facilitating Chinese battery manufacturer in Punjab

As a Chinese battery manufacturer is looking for making an investment in Punjab, caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi has taken a profound interest in facilitating the group in the province, according to an official statement of the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT).

The battery supplier is a large-scale industrial company dedicated to manufacturing environmentally friendly motive batteries for electric vehicles, integrating R&D, production, and sale of new energy vehicle lithium batteries, wind, and solar energy batteries, etc, as per the company’s website.

According to an official statement of the board, “PBIT held a productive meeting with the Chinese investors and assured them [of] complete support and comprehensive assistance for their investment in the Special Economic Zones (SEZs) of Punjab”.

While Pakistan is in dire need of power, especially renewable and green energy, Tianneng Group can help the country expand the base of its renewable energy. The Chinese company also has  great experience in the construction of urban intelligent micro-grid construction and green intellectual park as a whole.
