Federal Minister to reinitiate Pak-China cultural exchange programs

The Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Jamal Shah, has expressed his desire to reinitiate cultural exchange programs between Pakistan and China and to resume cultural activities at the China Culture Center.

He shared these thoughts during a meeting with Zhang Heqing, the Cultural Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan and the Director of the Pakistan China Cultural Center. The meeting took place at the Heritage and Culture Division on Tuesday.

The Chinese Cultural Counselor congratulated Jamal Shah on assuming his role as Federal Minister and extended a special invitation for him to attend the ongoing Gandhara exhibition in China. The Federal Minister assured that he would visit the exhibition during his trip to China.

During the meeting, they discussed various mutual interests, particularly cultural exchange programs. The Cultural Counselor also congratulated renowned artist Jamal Shah on the release of his first-ever Pak-China joint feature film, “Ba’tie Girl.”

The Federal Minister emphasized the importance of collaboration between Pakistan and China in all fields of art, highlighting the immense potential. He noted that such collaboration would further enhance the people-to-people ties between the two friendly nations.
