NSU offers Pak-China joint degree program in mechanical engineering technology

The National Skills University (NSU), Islamabad has offered admissions in B.Sc Mechanical Engineering Technology in collaboration with the Hebei Vocational University of Industry and Technology (HVUIT), China.

The 4-years program includes a 1-year, fully funded and supervised industrial training in China and subsidised tuition fees in Pakistan, according to an admission notice issued by the university.

The NSU has signed an agreement with the HVUIT for a joint degree program in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Under the program, the final year students will spend one year in China, gaining international exposure and a global perspective. The one-year industrial training is fully funded (including tuition, boarding, and lodging) by the Chinese government, according to the university.

The students will be able to learn modern industrial technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics under the program. The NSU is a nonprofit public sector university established by the federal government.
