Bilawal Bhutto announces his entry on TikTok

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday made an entry on TikTok which he announced from his official Twitter account. “Join Me on TikTok now,” he wrote while sharing his TikTok official account @bbzppp with a picture.

Bilawal Bhutto has shared seven videos on his TikTok that have been seen by thousands of people. Over 8,000 people have followed the Foreign Minister on TikTok. He has received 16.2k likes in a very short time.

In July 2021, President Dr. Arif Alvi created his official account on TikTok and today he has 47.6k followers.

Pakistani political parties including Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) etc also use TikTok to connect with people in the country and abroad.  PTI has a strong presence on TikTok and its verified accounts have 1.7 million followers. PML-N has 23.3K followers.

Initially, when the Chinese app reached Pakistan, several TikTokers became celebrities on the platform. Slowly and gradually, Pakistani showbiz celebrities, cricketers, news anchors, religious scholars and fashion designers started using TikTok.

According to storage software company Cloudflare latest updates, TikTok is the most visited platform in Pakistan followed by Facebook and Google respectively.
